Teacher burnout in K-12 is a real problem in America. Entry-level teachers either leave the field or leave the classroom for higher administrative roles after a few short years. This leaves students without seasoned and quality instructors during their most vital years of learning. The National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education (NAATE) recognized this dilemma and vowed to solve it.
